and i waited

A lot of people are asking what exactly Jared and Aisha said and I am literally too angry to want to retype it all but I just tweeted about it, so here:

And that’s basically the summary of it, there was more but I was a bit distracted by rage to catch all of what was said.

I am just so angry because it shows just such disrespect and misogyny and I can’t even describe how hurtful their comments were, as a female fan, as a woman and a person who values the stories and lives of women, to see such blatant disregard and scorn for the idea of female characters, especially after Jeremy Carver’s condescending remarks earlier, and I just…

I don’t like hating people. I really don’t.

But I really hate Jared Padalecki and Aisha Tyler right now.

Anonymous asked: do you think kyla will need to upgrade to stay relevant? those juniors are coming for her...

why do people keep saying Kyla won’t make another World team after this year?? even if she drops VT and FX (her weaker events) and doesn’t upgrade ANYTHING on bars and beam, she’s still an above average bars and beam worker who can consistently hit under pressure.

Team USA doesn’t exactly have a million amazing beam and bars prospects lined up to replace her… I think people need to realized that even without any upgrades, Kyla is highly valuable to any USA team right now.

also if she intends to compete in rio and then do NCAA that means she will be competing until 2020 so she probably isnt in any rush to jeopardize her body with injuries considering she has another possible 6 years of intensive training and competing ahead of her

and even in early 2012 kyla had sort of low difficulty on beam and bars but in the run up to olympic trials she upgraded a solid .3 in difficulty on both events so i think she will upgrade when its absolutely necessary especially considering she has had back and ankle problems in the past so there isnt any reason to risk it now seeing as marta already has her as a lock for worlds already

Seriously people. Kyla grew a lot last year and was able to upgrade floor which is definitely her weakest event. She is so clean that she only has to upgrade maybe 2-3 tenths on bars and beam and she will be fine through 2016. She hits every single time. She went first at the flipping Olympics on BEAM and got less than a point off on execution for Christ sakes.

I like playing intense women; because as women, we are not simple. As much as the world wants us to be, we aren’t and there’s nothing wrong with that and we shouldn’t be ashamed of having emotions and of messing up sometimes, and being upset and angry. That’s all part of what makes us human.

I remember watching the behind the scenes on this show. The creator of the show said that they got so much fan mail saying this show was the most realistic hospital show.

My parents both worked in the medical profession my whole life, and when I was watching them come home, I could see echoes of what this show did. All other medical shows were so much about the drama. This one nailed it. It nailed the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Also, I read that Scrubs was more medically accurate than House, Grey’s Anatomy, and every other medical show on TV

It definitely was. They showed the good and the bad without it being over the top.
